The Mission of the Church
The church’s mission is that of Jesus Christ. “To seek and save the lost” (Lk. 19:10) this is done through proclaiming the gospel (Mk.16:15). The gospel is God’s power to save (Rm. 1:16). We encourage all men to accept the words of Jesus Christ, because His words will judge us in the last day (John 12:48). We maintain a profound respect for the word of God (the Bible) II Tim. 3:16-17 it is our guide in all matters of our lives, spiritual, professional, business, and family. The bible affirms its all sufficiency and completeness and God has given it to us for life and godliness (II Pet. 1: 3-4). It is therefore imperative that we preach the word and only the word (II Tim. 4:1-5).
The Church is subject to Christ and all things in His name (by His authority) because He is the Head of the Church (Eph. 1:22; 5:23 Col. 3:17).
